In the workshop
Two hours, mostly hands-on
- Why AI keeps giving you generic answers, and the two things it needs from you: your context and your method.
- Build your own workflow for one real task, with one-to-one help. AI does most of the writing.
- Test it on a real example, fix what's off, and save it so it works every week without re-explaining.

What's a skill?
A saved way of doing one task: your rules, the format you want back and the checks before the answer. You call it by name in any chat instead of re-typing your instructions.
I already made a Gem or a custom GPT. Is it wasted?
No. Google is turning Gems into skills from November 2026, and OpenAI is retiring custom GPTs on 11 December 2026 and moving them to plugins. Your instructions can carry over, and the workshop shows where they go now.
Does this set up automation?
No. You stay in the chat: you paste the input in and decide what to do with the result. There's no calendar, messaging, spreadsheet or background integration. AI that runs jobs on its own is where this is heading, and we look at it briefly at the end.
